Kota Kinabalu is the capital of Malaysia's Sabah state in the northern part of the island of Borneo. Often referred to as KK, it's a coastal city partly surrounded by rainforest and South China Sea. KK city centre is compact and easy to get around. The locals are friendly, and the sunset is beautiful.

 Alongside swanky new malls and expensive condos, are old KK with its market brimming with sea creature and fresh produce, and busy fishers shuttling about the waterfront. This may be a city on the move with the 21st century, but its old-world charm and history are very much alive.

KK is an ideal place to stay and take advantage of the day tours to hinterland of Mount Kinabalu, Kiulu River Rafting, Mari Mari Cultural Village and day outing to Manukan Island located in Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park opposite KK.

Day 1     Home – Kota Kinabalu
     Arrive at Kota Kinabalu airport, transfer to hotel at city centre. Free at leisure. 
     Overnight Grandis Hotel.

Day 2     Kota Kinabalu 
     After breakfast, 0830 hours proceed to jetty for boat trip to your diving sites at
     Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park. After briefing and put on your gear, proceed
     to 2 diving sites before adjourn to one of the islands for lunch, rest and relax on
     the golden beach or proceed for another dive from the shore of the island before
     transfer back to the jetty and your hotel by 1600. Overnight Grandis Hotel.

Day 3     Kota Kinabalu 
     After breakfast, 0830 hours proceed to jetty for boat trip to your diving sites at
     Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park. After briefing and put on your gear, proceed
     to 2 diving sites before adjourn to one of the islands for lunch, rest and relax on
     the golden beach or proceed for another dive from the shore of the island before
     transfer back to the jetty and your hotel by 1600. Overnight Grandis Hotel.

Day 4     Kota Kinabalu – Home 
     After breakfast, free at leisure till transfer to airport. (breakfast included)
